I am very excited to be joining the Tenafly Middle School team! As we enter a school year that presents itself with so much uncertainty, please know that the staff at TMS and I will be doing everything we can to instill a strong sense of normalcy and academic progress within your students' everyday lives. I am bringing with me more than ten years of classroom experience to Tenafly, primarily as an Italian teacher. I most recently served as the head of the foreign language department in Monroe Township and successfully navigated my department and my students through the pandemic.
I encourage each and every student at TMS to communicate early and to communicate often. If you are struggling with your academic progress or have any concerns, please reach out. Reach out to your teacher, reach out to your counselor, reach out to me. We are all here to support you to the best of our abilities, especially during this potentially chaotic time. Your school and the people that work there are here to help you!
I am looking forward to working with the school community this year to celebrate every success that our community has and to overcome any challenge that comes our way. As we go back to the hybrid model, I encourage all of you to take care of yourself, take care of each other and to take care of this place!
